1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to TravelYog ("Company," "we," "our," "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website located at https://travelyog.com/ (the "Website"), including any mobile applications, and the booking of all travel-related services, tour packages, and products offered through our platform.

By accessing, browsing, or using our Website, creating an account, making a booking, or utilizing any of our travel services, you ("User," "you," "your," "traveler") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cancellation & Refund Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our Website and refrain from booking any services through TravelYog. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TravelYog under the applicable laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

2. Definitions & Interpretation

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions shall apply:

  • "Booking" means any reservation, purchase, or order for travel services made through our Website, including but not limited to flight tickets, hotel accommodations, holiday packages, tour activities, car rentals, cruise bookings, travel insurance, and visa processing services.
  • "Service Provider" or "Supplier" refers to third-party airlines, hotels, resorts, transport operators, tour guides, activity providers, insurance companies, visa facilitation agencies, and any other entity whose services are booked through TravelYog.
  • "Booking Confirmation" means the email or document issued by TravelYog confirming the acceptance of your Booking and detailing the services purchased, itinerary, and payment receipt.
  • "Travel Voucher" means the document issued after full payment that entitles you to receive the booked services from the respective Service Providers.
  • "Force Majeure Event" has the meaning assigned in Section 9 of these Terms.
  • "User Content" means any reviews, feedback, photos, comments, or other content submitted by you on our Website or social media channels.
  • "Business Day" means any day other than Saturday, Sunday, or a public holiday in New Delhi, India.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

3.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Website and book travel services. Minors may travel under a Booking made by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 years or older and who assumes full responsibility for the minor's compliance with these Terms.

3.2 Account Creation

To make a Booking, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process, including your full legal name, valid email address, and contact details. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Single Account Policy

You may maintain only one active account. TravelYog reserves the right to suspend or terminate duplicate accounts, or accounts created using false or misleading information, without prior notice.

Important: You must immediately notify TravelYog at support@travelyog.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security.

4. Booking & Reservations

4.1 Booking Process

All Bookings are made through our Website. By submitting a Booking request, you make an offer to purchase the selected travel services. A Booking is only considered confirmed when you receive a Booking Confirmation email from TravelYog. Until such confirmation is issued, no contractual relationship exists between you and TravelYog for the requested services.

4.2 Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate traveler information, including but not limited to:

  • Full legal names as they appear on government-issued identification (passport, Aadhaar, driver's license, etc.)
  • Correct date of birth and gender
  • Valid email address and phone number for communication
  • Special requirements (dietary, medical, accessibility needs) at the time of Booking

TravelYog is not liable for any issues, denied boarding, or additional charges arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you. Any amendments to traveler details after Booking Confirmation may incur amendment fees as per the relevant Service Provider's policy.

4.3 Special Requests

Special requests (adjoining rooms, specific dietary meals, wheelchair assistance, etc.) are communicated to Service Providers on a request basis. TravelYog does not guarantee that special requests will be fulfilled, and no Booking is conditional upon the fulfillment of such requests unless expressly confirmed in writing.

4.4 Group Bookings

Bookings for 10 or more travelers are considered "Group Bookings" and may be subject to additional terms, deposit requirements, and cancellation policies. For group inquiries, please contact us at groups@travelyog.com.

5. Payment & Pricing

5.1 Currency & Pricing

All prices displayed on our Website are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified. For international transactions, prices may be displayed in USD, EUR, GBP, or other currencies at our discretion. The final amount charged will reflect the exchange rate applicable on the date of payment as determined by your bank or payment provider.

5.2 Taxes & Fees

Displayed prices include applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) for Indian customers. However, certain additional taxes, surcharges, resort fees, city taxes, or government levies may be payable directly at the destination. Any such additional charges will be disclosed at the time of Booking or indicated in your itinerary.

5.3 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay)
  • Debit Cards (all major Indian and international banks)
  • Net Banking (all major Indian banks)
  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
  • Digital Wallets (Paytm, Amazon Pay, Mobikwik)
  • Bank Transfer / NEFT / RTGS (for corporate and group bookings)

5.4 Payment Schedule

5.5 Late Payment

Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of your Booking without further notice. The deposit/advance amount shall be forfeited as per the cancellation policy applicable at the time of cancellation.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

6.1 Cancellation by You

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to bookings@travelyog.com from the email address associated with your Booking. Cancellation charges vary based on the type of service, destination, and timing of cancellation relative to the departure date.

6.2 Standard Cancellation Charges

6.3 Flight & Hotel Specific Policies

Flight tickets and hotel reservations are subject to the cancellation policies of the respective airline or hotel. Some fares (especially promotional or non-refundable fares) may not be eligible for any refund. These specific terms will be communicated at the time of Booking.

6.4 Refund Processing

Eligible refunds will be processed within 15-21 Business Days from the date of cancellation confirmation. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. For international transactions, additional processing time may apply depending on the intermediary banks involved.

6.5 Cancellation by TravelYog or Service Provider

In the rare event that TravelYog or a Service Provider cancels a confirmed Booking (other than due to Force Majeure or your breach), you will be entitled to:

  • A full refund of all amounts paid; or
  • An alternative package of equivalent or higher value (subject to availability and price difference settlement)

7. Travel Documents, Visa & Insurance

7.1 Passport & Visa

It is your sole responsibility to ensure you possess a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity beyond your intended return date for most international destinations), necessary visas, and any other entry permits required for your travel. TravelYog may assist with visa processing as an intermediary, but we do not guarantee visa issuance. Visa fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the visa application.

7.2 Travel Insurance

TravelYog strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, flight delays, and personal liability. We offer travel insurance as an add-on service through our insurance partners. If you decline travel insurance, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any losses incurred during travel.

7.3 Health & Vaccination

You are responsible for checking and complying with all health and vaccination requirements of your destination country. TravelYog is not liable if you are denied entry due to failure to meet health or vaccination requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Intermediary Role

TravelYog acts as an intermediary or booking agent between you and the respective Service Providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.). We do not own, operate, or control any of the travel services booked through our platform. Consequently, TravelYog is not liable for:

  • Any act, omission, negligence, or default of any Service Provider or their employees/agents
  • Flight delays, cancellations, or denied boarding by airlines
  • Overbooking by hotels or changes in accommodation standards
  • Loss, damage, or delay of baggage by airlines or transport operators
  • Accidents, injuries, illnesses, or fatalities during travel
  • Natural disasters, weather events, or political unrest at the destination

8.2 Maximum Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TravelYog's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or any Booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific Booking. TravelYog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of enjoyment, or emotional distress.

Disclaimer: TravelYog makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the quality, safety, or suitability of any travel services offered. All services are provided "as is" and "as available" by the respective Service Providers.

9. Force Majeure

Neither TravelYog nor you shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms arising from causes beyond the affected party's reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event"). Such events include, but are not limited to:

  • Acts of God (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions)
  • Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies (including COVID-19-like situations)
  • War, civil unrest, riots, terrorism, or military actions
  • Government actions, travel bans, border closures, or changes in law
  • Industrial strikes, labor disputes, or airport/port closures
  • Major technical failures of transportation systems or communication networks

In the event of a Force Majeure Event, TravelYog shall endeavor to assist you in obtaining refunds, credits, or rescheduling from Service Providers. However, refunds are subject to the policies of those Service Providers. TravelYog's service fees and any non-recoverable costs are non-refundable under Force Majeure circumstances.

10. User Conduct & Obligations

By using our Website and services, you agree:

  • Not to use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Not to make fraudulent, false, or speculative Bookings
  • Not to post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or infringing upon the rights of others
  • Not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with Website functionality, or bypass security measures
  • Not to use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the Website without our prior written consent
  • To provide truthful, complete traveler information for all individuals included in a Booking
  • To comply with all Service Provider terms, including check-in times, baggage limits, and conduct policies during travel

TravelYog reserves the right to cancel any Booking and/or terminate access to the Website if we reasonably suspect a violation of these conduct obligations, without liability to you.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the TravelYog Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, photographs, audio/video clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, page layout, and design, is the exclusive property of TravelYog or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The trademarks "TravelYog," the TravelYog logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of TravelYog or its affiliates. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission.

11.1 User-Generated Content

By submitting reviews, ratings, photos, or comments on our Website, you grant TravelYog a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and display such content in any media.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) shall not apply.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mutual negotiation within 30 days.

If the dispute is not resolved through negotiation, it shall be referred to binding arbitration in New Delhi, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by both parties. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding.

12.3 Exclusive Jurisdiction

Subject to the arbitration clause above, the courts of New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters arising from these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

TravelYog reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated by:

  • Posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
  • Sending an email notification to registered users at least 15 days before the changes take effect
  • Displaying a banner notice on the Website homepage

Your continued use of the Website and our services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you must cease using our Website and services immediately.
